Chemdawg x Sour Diesel

Strain: Chemdawg x Sour Diesel
Lineage: Chemdawg x (’91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL
Breeder: -
Sativa/Indica: Hybrid

Appearance: These buds nearly glow with potency – nuclear green calyxs with light orange and yellow pistils.

Aroma / Flavor: Pungent and skunky bringing together the complexity of the chems piney astringent flavors and the foul funk that is Sour Diesel. Unreal stench and flavor to match, wont take long to permeate even glass jars.

Overall Effects: Not for lightweights, Chemdawg x Sour Diesel sends you soaring from the first puff – strongly distorting your visual perception and sending you off into a speedy euphoric bliss. Regardless of tolerance, this hybrid is sure to satisfy even the most picky connoisseur leaving you confused and red eyed sucking you into the psychedelic vortex that is the Chem and Sour d family. The initial speedy effects evolve into a warped trippy stone of hash or concentrate strength, likely to cause ravenous munchies and unexpected naps. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself organizing your bedroom in hysterical laughter or planning world domination. I’d advise making sure whatever you needed to get done for the day is done before packing this stuff into your pipe.

Purple Kush Wax

Strain Used: Purple Kush
Extraction Solvent: Butane
Sativa/Indica: Indica

Appearance: Waxy chunks of dark yellow and gold, soft malleable consistency.

Aroma / Flavor: Musky with a fruity funk undertone, flavor is similar but more astringent.

Overall Effects: Purple Kush wax is strong indica medicine providing almost immediate appetite stimulation and a deep relaxing stone. The flavor from the purple kush transitions perfectly to the concentrate, saturating your mouth with a deep fruity kush flavor. Useful for relief of minor aches and pains and as a sleep aide, this stuff is strong enough to put any racing mind to rest.

Killing Fields

Strain: Killing Fields
Lineage: The One x Sannies Jack
Breeder: Sannie
Sativa/Indica: Mostly Sativa

Appearance: Killing Fields is unreal, another one that you just have to see to believe – large fuscia / purple / blue calyxes foxtail between rust / orange pistils to form sizable spear shaped buds that are dripping with trichomes.

Aroma / Flavor: A complex blend of spicy floral citrus and grape candy or grape gum, very unique in it’s pallete. The grape accents are deep and fruity and unlike any other purple flavored strains I’ve come across. A Strong spicy fruity flavor lingers when smoked .

Overall Effects: The high of the Kiling Fields is lucid, soaring, euphoric, dreamy, invigorating, and everything else you’d ever want in a Sativa packed into a pretty purple / blue package that reeks of spicy grape gum. In small doses Killing Fields is great for getting things done or as a catalyst for good conversation, but a heavy session will leave you staring off in wonder or contemplating your existence. Unlike many strong sativas, the Killing Fields is stimulating without causing a sense of panic or the jitters, creating a sense of inner calm while the mind is free to set off. In a market saturated with heavy indica strains, the soaring high of the Killing Fields is candy for the connoisseur with an unparalleled flavor and effect of the highest order reminiscent of a good haze high. By far one of the most unique and exotic sativas I’ve come across. Appropriate for indoor cultivation with reasonable flowering times of 10-11 weeks, Killing Fields is available in seed directly from the breeder at www.sanniesshop.com .

The History Of Chemdawg

At a Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek Amphitheatre, ‘joebrand’ (aka ‘wonkanobe’) and ‘pbud’ met ‘chemdog’ and sold him an ounce of very high quality pot for $500. joe and chemdog exchanged numbers and they later arranged for two ounces to be shipped to chemdog on the east coast. According to chemdog, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds.

In ’91, chemdog popped the first 4 seeds. From these seeds, one male was found and disposed of (chemdog was young, you can’t blame him). The 3 females were labeled ‘chemdawg’ (now ’91 chemdawg), ‘chemdawg a’ (now chemdawg’s sister), and ‘chemdawg b’. In ’01, chemdog and his girlfriend attempted to germ 3 more seeds, labeled ‘c’, ‘d’, and ‘e’. the ‘e’ seed never germinated, ‘c’ turned out to be junk (according to chemdog), and chemdawg ‘d’ was the keeper. In ’06, ‘chemdog’ and ‘joebrand’ reunited and joe was given 4 of the last 6 beans: Chemdawg phenos 1-4, ’4′ being the chosen keeper. Joe thought the ’4′ was the best representation of the original and thus dubbed it the ‘reunion pheno’. Chemdog still has two seeds left in his stash.

Chemdawg Crosses:
• ‘OG Kush’ (the original cut) came from an s1 from in a bag of ’91 Chemdawg in the Lake Tahoe area in 1996.
• ‘Sour Diesel’ aka ECSD came from an accidental cross of (’91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL after the DNL hermed and seeded the room. The DNL’s lineage is NL/Shiva x Hawaiian.
• Original Diesel’ (also known as Diesel #1, Headband, Daywrecker Diesel, Underdawg) came from a cross of ’91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi’s Northern Lights) done by a guy known as ‘weasel’.

• ‘chemdog’ and friends made several crosses that are held closely by a small group of friends and acquaintances. Among them are:

1. Super Snowdawg (Bubble Chem x [Super skunk x Oregon Sno])
2. Giesel (Chem D x Mass Super Skunk)
3. Bubble Chem (Chemdawg’s Sister x Sag’s Bubbleberry)
4. Dawg Daze aka ChemHaze (Chem D x ’93 Sensi’s NL#5/Haze)
5. Chemdawg D x Pbud (another old-school Colorado strain)

JJ-NYC has been working on a Chemdawg D-based seed line for several years now. He started by crossing Chemdawg D to Sensi’s Afghani after thoroughly testing both Sensi’s Afghani and Sensi’s Hindu Kush to determine which was more stable and would be better for the initial cross. JJ then did a backcross, known as “Double Dawg.” Several phenos of this circulate and several people still have beans. JJ’s latest work to the line is a second backcross known as “Tres Dawg” which is just starting to get tested.

Rezdog of Reservoir Seeds recently released several Chemdawg crosses as part of his ‘Trinity’ charity auctions. The crosses included Chemdawg D x Sensi’s Hindu Kush and Snowdawg x Sensi’s Hindu Kush, Chemdawg D x Sour Diesel IBL, Snowdawg x Sour Diesel IBL, ChemHaze x Sour Diesel IBL and Giesel x Sour Diesel IBL.

Po #1 (Sour Double X SoCal Master Kush)

Strain: P.O. #1  (aka Riddler OG)
Lineage: Sour Double (Sour Diesel x Sour Bubble)  x SoCal Master Kush
Breeder: Progressive Options  - Clone Only
Sativa/Indica: Mostly Indica

Appearance: The nugs of PO #1 are large calyxed and similar in structure to Sour Diesel though a substantially darker shade of green. The surface has an almost grey sheen from the large trichome glands that densely accumulate in some areas. Spear shaped buds, full but not overly dense.

Aroma / Flavor: The skunky fuel smell of the Sour Diesel is present but substantially softened by the influence of the Master Kush, which adds a sweeter hashy flavor and smell. While less pungent than the pure Sour Diesel, the smell is still likely to escape all but air tight containers.

Overall Effects: PO #1 is a powerful indica dominant hybrid that calms both mind and body with it’s smooth and flavorful smoke. It sets in gradually, with effects ranging from a dreamy stone to full on couch-lock depending on the quantity consumed. While similar to Sour Diesel, the PO #1 provides a less intense and more relaxing stone that is dominant in the body but still present in the mind – a true indica dominant hybrid. Ideal for use later in the day, PO #1 makes a great sleep aid and is known to cause “munchies” consistently regardless of tolerance.

Skywalker OG

Strain: Skywalker OG
Lineage: Select OG Kush Phenotype
Breeder: Unkown
Sativa/Indica: Indica Dominant Hybrid

Appearance: Dense tight clusters of light green calyxes with rust / maroon pistils.

Aroma / Flavor: A twist on the classic OG kush aroma – sweet, astringent, pinesol, funk.

Overall Effects: Skywalker OG comes on fast like a good OG should and while definitely an indica dominant cross Skywalker OG is surprisingly uplifting. The high, while strong and accompanied by a strong body buzz is upbeat and euphoric – by no means lethargy producing as many other OG crosses tend to be. Don’t get me wrong, you can definitely go to sleep on this stuff if those are your intentions, but it’s best applications would be for “focused leisure” like movie watching or socializing with friends. Like most Indica dominant hybrids Skywalker OG can be useful for appetite stimulation, as an anecdote for anti-anxiety, and for mild body aches and pains.
